Best Way to Celebrate Today is with a Genymoney.ca Giveaway!

Giveaway for Genymoney.ca readers

Merry Christmas!  A Giveaway for genymoney.ca readers!

You’re probably spending time with your families and not reading this, but if you are, Merry Christmas!

In the spirit of today I want share my gratitude to genymoney.ca‘s readers!  It’s been admittedly a bit difficult to get a blog started again from the ground up (it seemed easier in 2009 but maybe it’s because I had more time for it- having a baby takes up a lot of your time btw lol).  So I want to thank you for reading!

Because I want to share my gratitude for existing and future readers of genymoney.ca, I want to give away something!

what’s the giveaway?

There will be a total of three lucky genymoney.ca reader-winners!

One lucky winner will receive an Amazon.ca CAD $25 gift card (I know, it’s not much but it’s a start and better than nothing!  You can get a few personal finance books with this amount!)

Another two lucky winners will receive a free sign up worth $109 value (yes, arbitrary value I know) for the Young Money Bootcamp eCourse.  This eCourse that I spent hundreds and hundreds of hours creating is geared towards Canadians and will give you a step-by-step process on how to create your own investment portfolio and how to get involved in DIY Investing (because as we know it’s not that scary).  You’ll even get to hear my voice in a video I created lol!

how do you sign up?

All you have to do to enter this giveaway is to sign up for free updates and a dividend yield spreadsheet, if you already subscribe, you are already signed up!

  • This contest is open to both US and Canadian residents- if you are a US Resident and can’t use the Amazon.ca gift card, I may get you an Amazon.com gift card of US $25.  If you are a Canadian resident, you get the $25 CAD gift card.
  • Contest closes on January 1, 2018 23:59 PST, so any new sign ups after that will not be included.
  • If you’re already signed up, don’t worry I’ll include you in this contest.
  • If you decline the prize I will offer it to another subscriber.
  • Three winners will be picked at random using Random.org.
  • I will announce the winners (by first name only, but don’t worry I’ll contact you if you win) on the PF Blog Round Up January 5, 2018.

Good luck, and again, Merry Christmas from the GYM family (GYM, baby GYM, and Mr. GXM) to yours!!

How are you spending (or how did you spend) your Christmas Day?  Now get back to spending time with your loved ones!

Merry Christmas to you, your husband, and baby GYM! That’s so sweet of you to offer 3 give aways.

Your Young Money boot camp course would make a great New Year’s resolution for someone who wants to start learning more about investing! I’m sure that your course is amazing given that your poured all your heart and soul into it! That person will be one lucky fella! 😊

As for your blog, your doing an awesome job with it!! Keep it up and let’s get ready for an amazing 2018!!! 🔥 🤗

    • @fin$savvypanda- Merry Christmas to you and your husband too! Hopefully the winner will find it useful! 🙂 Thank you and I also hope 2018 will be amazing too!

    • @Troy- Haha, we do have some good mountains! I haven’t been up snowboarding in years! I should really get on that sometime (once the little one can be on his own board lol). I am guessing snowboarding in Canada= snowboarding in BC for Aussies.

  2. Happy holidays to you and your family. We’ve been super-busy this season with the arrival of a baby boy. I brought my wife and son back from the hospital a few days ago and we’ve had guests and gifts for him and my older one so reading and writing on the blog is a bit of a break from all the hecticness 🙂

    • @SMM- Thank you SMM! Congratulations again! I found it very difficult to write on the blog in the first few weeks- there’s a lot less sleep! How exciting, your baby’s first Christmas!

    • @Melanie- Yay! Good luck! The odds are good right now haha. Happy holidays to you and your family too! My husband and I were just saying we should have stayed in Hawaii hahah it’s way too hectic here with all the gift giving/receiving!

  3. Happy Holidays GYM. Looking forward to 2018. I would love to pick your brain about blogging. Do you think it is harder to get a blog up and running now because the space is more saturated? I have to imagine you were cutting edge back in 2009. As a reader, you might consider some posts to share your blogging expertise, perspectives and experience. Maybe you have already and I have missed them.

    • @Tom- YES. SO Saturated. Haha ‘cutting edge’ Yes, it was not as difficult I think. I don’t remember my traffic numbers but I think they were higher and I was turning a profit much faster. Actually one of my post ideas was going to be blogging in 2009 vs 2017, so I’ll get started working on that, you read my mind!
